This week has been good! We are still working hard to try and find those to teach. I feel like every time I am just so exhausted and think I can:t do it Heavenly Father gives us a day full of little miracles… somebody who makes us laugh really hard in the street or a day where we are able to exchange phone numbers with a lot of people or see a less active that we have been trying to meet. It is special to be able to be this close to the spirit and see these things happen.
A cool miracle– we were housing on Saturday and this 50 year old guy answered the door and we taught him about baptism and he said that he had already been baptized- when he was in the 4th grade but hadn`t been to church since. So we just casually gave him a flyer and told him to come to church the next day. Biggest surprise ever when I am sitting waiting for sacrament to start and my phone starts ringing… it was this man telling me he was in the church parking lot… and he had brought his wife! His wife is not a member. They aren:t too excited about receiving lessons but it was still so cool to see a miracle like that happen.
Other than that our week was filled with ice cream breaks in between hours of finding, trying to make at least half the people we talk to laugh, sitting on the side of the road for 15 minutes with 3 maps spread out, trying to figure out where in the world we were, etc…
Also all the missionaries in Okinawa got together on Friday for training from President and the Ap`s… they flew down here and also the missionaries on the islands of Miyako and Ishigaki (in our zone) flew up too. No trains so we took a taxi. Anyway, we got IPADS. Which I have pretty much refused to touch mine haha. But overall nothing has really changed except we take a lot more selfies and you can look up scriptures faster.
Love you all!
